Since we moved into our house 6 years ago, we have slowly been renovating room by room. To get an idea of the state our house was in, our realtor said "who would by this place?" and Sean said "I'd like to put in an offer." It had good bones! Thanks to my amazing and talented husband (and family!), we've done all of the work ourselves. The front half of the house was finally complete but it was time to tackle our major renovation of the back half. This involved demolishing this part of the house down to the foundation. It's been crazy and stressful but the thought of a brand new kitchen, pantry, a few bathrooms, a new bedroom for Parker, and a laundry room keeps me sane :) Thanks to our generous family for hosting us the past month! Here are a few photos of the progress:
Before.....
(If you look close, there is a 1' section of the house missing at the midsection. This was removed to tear down the back half.)
After.....
(This only took about a half a day to tear down)
What a mess! Thank you Nik, Ian, Kyle, and Matt for all of your help in the freezing temperatures.
Progress!
